The U.S. Soldier's Creed declares "I will never leave a fallen comrade". But the McCarty boys ain't soldiers, and even so might have considered making an exception if getting Cousin Bob out lets loose the zombies that were chewing his face, especially when there's also already a pile of them outside the pen that weren't going to stay stunned forever.
In some zombie apocalii, lack of brains would make them untasty… but these zombies ain’t so picky.
By the way, if anyone ever wants their comment(s) edited or deleted, just let us know. Dawn says that unfortunately there’s no way to let users edit their own posts without opening permissions she’d rather not, so that’s the best I can offer in cases of unwanted auto correct and the like.
idiots…i expected nothing more…the only one that seems to have any sort of sense/intelligence (and even then that’s pretty questionable) is Queen Bitch…
Now in their defense, it’s possible some of the stupid could be due to Muriel pushing them across miles of wasteland for over two days without sleep (and probably not much in the way of rations, either). But in the end, it doesn’t really matter why you did something dumb, you still suffer the consequences.
The level of stupidity displayed by the members of the clan is equaled only by my level of anticipation for learning the fate of Muriel. Nice job on the face of cousin bob.
Two Questions:
What exactly is the boom? Did Redshirt cap the female zombie? What happened?
Why can’t I see some evidence of the Muriel Popcorn event in panel one?
The perspective indicates that Muriel would have been standing in the very near foreground of that panel when she was ? by Popcorn. I would expect to see something there. (Blood, Scuff Marks, Clothing Items, Something from the confrontation)
The BOOM was the last blast of Redshirt’s shotgun, delivered in panic as a zombie tackles his brother. If that would be more clear with smoke from the gun or somesuch, direct all feedback to Dawn. I keep always having to fight to get her to draw muzzle flashes and the like, and she never believes me that it’s important 😉
Anyhow, Frank once managed to shoot off a zombie under such circumstances without (further) harm to the victim… but he had a much cooler head and a much more precise firearm.
As for Muriel, that all went down just a bit further out of frame… you’ll have to wait and see…

As someone (I think SteelRaven?) commented on an earlier page, those particular guns don’t hold many shells. Definitely sucks to be him. 😉

Is Cousin Bob going to turn into a zombie, or is he just plain dead?
SteelRaven
Defiantly not too many brains in this outfit
SteelRaven
DEFINITELY, stupid auto correct.

Dawn, muzzle flashes matter! Trust me, I am a professional Russian–I mean, movie fan. 😀
