Chuck is sometimes what we'd call an unreliable narrator, but in this case he's correct, disappointing as that might be for the cameras. Just hope for Brett's sake that he remembered to wash his hands along with boiling the tools.
Ah Hells yes! I thought this was heading down the usual misguided fetch the bullet out path. I got to that last panel and laughed so hard my hubby looked at me like I was crazy. Thank you SO MUCH for not perpetuating that error!
I won’t claim we’re always 100% accurate and realistic with our firearms stuff, but in this case the bait-and-switch reveal was just too good to pass up. Not to mention it’s more fun when Chuck isn’t incompetent ALL the time.

Brett will keep a nice souvenir from Murielle 🙂

Chuck’s sense of humor needs as much work as Brett’s shoulder. 😀

Maybe that’s another reason he’s letting them drink his moonshine, they might eventually laugh at his jokes…

Ah – yep. My wife keeps thirty-eights in her .357 as well.

Suzie was carrying a Colt .45 Single-Action Army, right? If one of those big slugs hits you…yeah, that would be bad. 🙁

It’s always supposed to have been a .357, there was just some artistic license early on, same as with Frank’s rifle 🙂

I keep thinking of the opening of Payback, the drunk doctor using his scotch to sterilize his tools.
