Comikaze Expo is this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center's Kentia Hall! We'll be exhibiting under our Lab Reject Studios label in the program (Table 18 in the Artist's area), or you can look for the Art of Dawn/Zombie Ranch banners as you prowl the floor. We'll have print copies of Issue #1, #2, and the just arrived Issue #3 available for sale. Click the link below for more information, including ticket sales.
Nobody posted a comment on this yet???? When I first read Susie’s remark of “no decent lets folk suffer like that”, I thought … “isn’t that kind of what you did with Zeke? Of course, that wasn’t intentional … but still Susie … isn’t that comment just a teensy bit hypocritical?
“‘Course not, nobody wants that. Make it quick, just… leave him whole as you can.”
When someone gets bit, you put them down, not just for your sake but theirs, because actually dying from the bite is one of the most horrible ways to go there is. It’s something a lot of Wild Zoners wouldn’t wish on their worst enemies.
Suzie happened to make the decision to put Zeke down in a way that preserved his potential stock value later, but from her view having Frank cut his jugular was still a fast and relatively painless way to deal with the situation. Zeke’s body still turned, but Zeke didn’t suffer.
Yep Clint … you’re right, I completely forgot that part. Which you would think I would’ve remembered with the threat of Zeke’s mom still looming in the future … LOL

Ah but remember the exchange from Comic #22:
“…he still don’t have to turn while he’s alive.”
“‘Course not, nobody wants that. Make it quick, just… leave him whole as you can.”
