Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! If something were to happen, wherever I can fortify would be called the Redoubt pretty quickly, even tho I realize fixed positions quickly tend to suck in an extended battle against a determined attacker.
That fence is barely waist-high. How is it supposed to keep out the Zeds? they could literally just stumble over it from being pushed forward by the ones in the back of the horde by accident. :/
Thank you again for noticing the fence, KingInYellow. As Clint says, the fence is much higher in comic #62, but probably isn’t going to stop a horde of zombies.
Eustace is a smart guy, even though I believe he should have taught his kids to ALWAYS listen to ones holding the guns way before all this happened… but then, maybe they did know that and that was why they followed their Ma without much complaining 😀
The McCarty household was probably a Survival of the Loudest situation, and no one’s louder than Muriel.
As for the fence, that’s an admitted mistake on Dawn’s part, she’ll be getting it fixed. You can see in comic #62 that it’s actually meant to be much taller.
It’s still not going to stop a determined horde… but then again, it’s not meant to… and Suzie’s current plan sort of depends on that fact. 🙂

I knew there was a reason I liked that guy–besides his taste in firearms, that is. 😀

General rule, listen to the man with the AK.

You’re welcome. Though I feel a bit bad that I sort of wound up adding to your workload. Sorry about that.

No worries, in this case Dawn had things layered so that it actually was a fairly simple fix.
