165 – Just Shoot Her

Stupid low-ammo shotguns, eh Muriel? Got her this far, but she's not having much luck finishing the fight. Then again, neither are the people trying to stop her, and her presence unfortunately seems to have rallied some of her kin despite the threat of armed retaliation. One thing's for sure, it doesn't seem like anyone's caring about the cameras anymore... even if "just shoot her" is so far proving more complicated a solution than either side figured. (And yes, the title for this week was changed in honor of the TV Trope brought up in last week's commentary, although the events of the page were planned out awhile back. Funny how these things work out...)

    There are zeds coming.. maybe ma will be lunch.. just hoping. And Suzie has got to look like hell.. I’m amazed she can get up. Good thing Popcorn’s not in real danger.. I just hope ma did shoot out his leg or anything.. I doubt he can be fixed from that.

    Pikinanou, I have no idea if your prediction jibes with what I’ve written, but now you’ve got *me* in a bit of suspense. Well played.

    As for Suzie, she’s a tough one… just too bad she couldn’t clear out of her post-fall daze quite fast enough to avoid being grabbed.

    “Shoot the big one!” But don’t hit Suzie, O.K.? Too bad AK-47s were never known for their accuracy. Now, an M-4 carbine with a proper ‘scope, on the other hand… 😀

    Quite true, and unfortunately (fortunately?) I already used “Spray And Pray” in a previous title.

    Actually the AK’s accuracy is not that bad, it’s the kick from the rifle that may hurt your aim and right now could be very lethal for the wrong person.

    Yea, Ma pulls the trigger and there’s a click noise.. but that click might as well have been a bullet all it’s own because that shows intent to kill.

    Ma definitely signed her own death warrant.

    Hokay Oscar, here’s the deal, pop Ma in the legs so she can’t run, Susie get’s gone, pick off some of those other wack job kids of hers, They and Ma become zombie chow, the shambling stampede stops at the moat … it’s all good.

    Ma could become another zombie of course, so the herd gains another cow. 😀
