CLINT: I can't remember where I put down my cellphone fifteen minutes ago but ingrained in my head to this day are memories of being a kid at the (then named) California Museum of Science & Industry watching some old Disney cartoon where a trio of cavemen were wailing "we need money!" in the form of song.
It took some doing but I found it on the Internets, and it's actually still a fairly interesting primer on economics. Definitely inspiration for some of the last few comics pages.

Take a look at the book “Priceless; the myth of fair value” by William Poundstone for some interesting observations about how difficult it is for humans to determine what something is really worth.
