Yep, looks like somewhere between here and here, Frank told Eustace that Zeke had been moved to another pen and could be handed over without fuss, assuming Muriel and Suzie could be made to agree. Alas, we know what happened there.
Zeke is dead and now a zombie. Nothing could have changed that after the fact, and I doubt Muriel would be satisfied with a zombie son, especially if Zeke bit more of the family.
While I don’t pretend to preach to an audience how they should react, I’ll admit I definitely set this up as one of those situations where Muriel didn’t know exactly what she wanted, just that she wanted it really, really bad.
Such things rarely end well, since it’s hard to satisfy someone if even they don’t know what that satisfaction should be…
