302 – Hazy Optimism

Oscar's the kind of guy you could bury up to his neck while the tide's out and he'd cheerfully declare "So far so good!". BIG NEWS! If you were reading this space last week you know that for the next couple weeks we'll be out at San Diego Comic-Con. Welp, that was originally just going to be us hobnobbing and networking in a professional capacity, since we haven't been able to exhibit since 2011. As of this week, due to a last-minute opportunity in the Small Press area we are proud to announce that for the first time in five years, Zombie Ranch is returning to SDCC! Yes, a fully stocked Lab Reject Studios booth will be present at Small Press P-14, selling our individual comics, t-shirts, brand new Volume 1 trade paperbacks and other goods! This has of course increased our preparation, workload, and expected exhaustion by tenfold, which definitely means sketch days for the next two weeks -- or fan art displays if anyone still wants to submit something per last week's request. It's a pretty great opportunity to pimp your own site since you may snag some of those SDCC eyeballs that are having a look at these pages for the first time. In any case our next story installment after this one is planned for August 3rd, so we'll "see" you then.
