Just in case you were wondering, no, that's not a zombie rattlesnake, it's a live one that's been pierced by several skewers. It'll probably be dead in a few hours, but in the meantime it's just pissed off. You have to wonder how many rattlesnakes are actually left these days considering the danger that they might get eaten by the very things they once thought of as prey. In any case, that's quite a cocktail our Brujefe is whipping up... care to share a drink?
Snakes normally hunt by scent and body heat so they will propably notice the slight “dead” smell on Zombie Rodents and the lack of body temperature.
Guess the one in the link just got really unlucky.
Dawn must be rubbing off on me, I’m suddenly picturing one of those zombie movie scenes where the person is approaching someone who has their back to them and won’t answer when they keep saying “Hey, are you all right?” Only it’s a rattlesnake approaching a prairie dog.
