For Chuck, seeing Billy come down from the rooftops must be akin to Noah after the Flood receiving the dove with its olive branch; if the dove in question smelled like pee and immediately started demanding beer. And yeah, goats can actually be kind of notorious for that habit. There were even a succession of beer-drinking goats that served as unofficial mayors for Lajitas, Texas for many years.

In the post-fire chaos we forgot to mention, no comic this week. Things are intact but there's still cleanup of smoke and ash to do, insurance to wrangle, etc. We had a really close call.
