Once again it seems Suzie has saved the McCarty clan from themselves; at least, if they choose to listen to her. Hopefully the stench of the moat will be enough to once and for all make them decide to leave matters to the professionals.
The McCarty Clan reminds me of both the homicidal hillbillies in ‘Deliverance’ and the Darling family on the ‘Andy Griffith Show’, in the latter case however, they can’t play Bluegrass tunes.

In the post-fire chaos we forgot to mention, no comic this week. Things are intact but there's still cleanup of smoke and ash to do, insurance to wrangle, etc. We had a really close call.
