301 – Conflicting Directions

Drama is easily obtained by raising the stakes. Ha ha. Ha. Ouch... Hey folks! San Diego Comic-Con is coming up and we're expecting to be overwhelmed enough by preparation, attendance and the aftermath that we reckon July 20th and July 27th will both be "sketch days". Alternately, since we haven't asked in awhile we thought we'd put out the call to see if anyone's inspired to contribute some fan art for featured publication! We're looking for stuff that'll at least fit horizontally in our usual display space, which is 758 pixels wide, though if you want to be especially cool you can submit a 758 x 1137 piece. You can see some previous examples on our Fan Art page. No real restrictions beyond that so long as it's Zombie Ranch related and doesn't stray past our PG-13 boundaries, though I wouldn't make it too big a file size either so it can comfortably be emailed. Submissions (or questions!) can be sent to clint@zombieranchcomic.com -- if you can get it to us by July 18 that'd be best. We'll of course be sure to shout out your art page/webcomic/etc. if we use it. There's also a family vacation coming up in August in honor of Clint's parents' 50th anniversary, so if you have something in mind but can't quite finish by July 18, please feel free to send it anyhow! Yeesh, sometimes we think we should've just taken a Summer hiatus this year...
