Guess that counts as a deathbed confession, if ever there was one. With it, comes the weight of sworn testimony, so that begs, who really did cut the power?
Crazyman, that is a wild idea. ClearStream has already stirred the pot by dropping that viewpad to Muriel. But if Suzie dies, they might lose the show, which I’m assuming is making money for them.
I could go back and review the entire series to look for clues. But I have my own zeds to corral, so to speak.
Oh, and Suzie having a smoke to calm her nerves before she does the merciful thing for Darlene….well done in 4 panels.
I agree with Crazyman – there were some very subtle hints to it at the time, that maybe it wasn’t quite as obvious as it appeared. Her claiming, even on her deathbed, that she didn’t do it is surprising to Suzie, but not to at least a few of the readers.

I thought for sure that it was Darlene. Suzie looks great in the first panel. Chillin’ next to a dead care with a zombifying enemy.

Oh yeah, the slimy bubbles are a nice touch.

Dawn gets all credit for those. I’ve taken over a lot of the lettering duties but some stuff I still hand back to her for a more artistic touch 😀

It was one of the camera drones, equipped with a laser! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 🙂

Yeah, go back and check page 247 (go to episode 11, then back up one page) – there’s implication that the guy watching had it done.

Had we seen that Suzie smokes before?
