Frank keeps repeating over and over that what happened to Zeke was his fault. We now know the truth is a little more complicated than that, but that ill-timed shout--not to mention the call of leaving Zeke unsupervised in the first place--perhaps makes it easy to see why Frank got on that particular guilt trip.
