Those camera drones are no doubt on the expensive side, but on the other hand it stands to reason that when sending them into the hazardous areas they're designed for, the network is prepared to write one off as lost or destroyed from time to time. The same thing goes on in our modern day equivalents, although physically speaking the camera operators for Clearstream only have to maybe worry about eyestrain and carpal tunnel.
