Lacy has a AR-15… god help us all.
Joking aside, I’m guess Frank is a better shot with the Bolt Action while Lacy just may need all 30 shots in that magazine (looks like a 30 round mag anyway)
I just re-read from the beginning. Picked up a few new things, like Rosa’s former occupation. I really like her look: realistic, hair, headband, know more than she lets on, resourceful. Also she is the most expressive of the characters, I think.
I think Chuck might give her a run for her money on that score, although Rosa may stand out more since it’s rarer to see a female character allowed to play so broadly. We definitely have a sort of “hierarchy of expressiveness” where the characters are concerned, with Chuck and Rosa at one end and Frank at the other.
And yes, one thing I like to shoot for is that re-reads will be rewarding and may shed new light on subtle bits we’ve sprinkled throughout the story. 😀
